BIBLE STUDIES
Be Loved and Live — it’s not just a Bible Study series title, it’s the core of living a life of freedom! We tend to get the order of love mixed up — we think loving others will help us feel love by God. Or we confuse loving ourselves as sinful or unimportant. In this 5-session study we’ll explore five avenues of loving and being loved, and establish the correct order for doing so:
Be Loved By God
Be Loved by Jesus
Love God
Love Yourself
Love Others
Be Loved and Live is a 5-session Bible Study designed to be done in a small-group setting, and is centered around a specific podcast by Be Still Be Free. Your small group can meet weekly, twice a month, monthly, or whatever schedule works best for you. You can listen to each session’s podcast before you meet, or listen together as a group. Your group decides what works best for you! There is only daily homework if you want it; it’s not mandatory. The main focus of the study is the small-group discussion — the more open and transparent you are, the more you’ll get out of the study.
The Bible Study facilitator should purchase the Complete Leader Guide. This Leader Guide includes all 5 sessions of Bible Study material, as well as a specific guide that covers every detail you’ll need to facilitate a small group. Once purchased, the Leader Guide will be mailed to you in a notebook format. Additionally, your purchase of the Leader Guide also includes a free coaching phone call with Monica or Sara to provide general guidance for the study, and to answer any questions you may have!
Group members should purchase the Member Guide. The Member Guide includes all 5 sessions of Bible Study material. Your purchase of the Member Guide will enable you to download a PDF to print; you can print all 5 sessions at once, or as needed. Feel free to put into a binder, or staple each week’s and put into a folder of any kind.
The only additional materials you will need for the Bible Study is a Bible (of course!), pen or pencil, and a journal of some kind if you wish to participate in each session’s homework. Facilitators will have a list for each week of any other possible materials necessary (easy items, such as notecards).
