BE IN THE WORD (this week’s verses):

Honest people are relaxed and confident, bold as lions. (Proverbs 28:1)

So let us step boldly to the throne of grace, where we can find mercy and grace to help when we need it most. (Hebrews 4:16)

And I looked, and behold, a white horse! And its rider had a bow, and a crown was given to him, and he came out conquering, and to conquer. (Revelation 6:2)

In all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. (Romans 8:37, NIV)

BE TWEETERS (ready-made tweets, just click to tweet):

BE DOERS, NOT JUST HEARERS OF THE WORD (practical application):

1. Pray. Where is God asking you to Be Bold and Conquer in your own life? Where do you need to be more than a conqueror? Pray that God would illuminate those areas and infuse you with a fresh dose of boldness there.

2. Journal. Pick one of the women from the Bible we mentioned in the podcast that resonated with you and your current situation. Write your thoughts about what made her bold and enabled her to conquer through her situation, and how God might be asking you to be bold and conquer, too.

BE EDUCATED (additional resources):

  1. You Are Anointed for This! Walk in Confidence, Boldness, and Authority by Judy Jacobs. God has blessed each of His children with gifts, and He wants you to use every one of them to advance His kingdom and to see lives changed. So whatever gift you have and wherever God has called you, you need to know that you are anointed for it! Get ready to come face-to-face with an anointing that you never knew was possible, simply because you are able to recognize and declare, “Hey, you know what? The Spirit of the Lord God is upon me, and He had anointed me for this!”
  1. The Confident Woman: Start Today Living Boldly and Without Fear by Joyce Meyer. Joyce Meyer draws upon her own personal journey from insecurity to confidence as she shows you how to discover your own true confidence through faith in Jesus Christ. She shows you how to recognize confidence barriers coming your way and how to stand against them. She also explores the seven characteristics of a woman with confidence, which include a woman who knows she is loved, who refuses to live in fear, and who does not live by comparisons, “if onlys,” or “what ifs.” An exciting, meaningful, and intentional life is yours as you start living beyond fear and begin living boldly. God will light your path as you walk toward confidence.
  1. Live Bold. This article explores how the call of Christian living is to live bold the way Luke shows us. It’s not so much because our culture needs it, but because “boldness” is an identity-shaping element of the church.

BE TOGETHER (creating discussion in the comment, bottom right tab!):

Can you identify a situation in your life where you were bold and saw God show up? Or do you perceive your past or present as a barrier to boldness? Share your experience in the comments below!
